A new helmet has been invented in Sweden because apparently 'A lot of people don't like a bicycle helmet because of the way it looks and what it does to your hairstyle once you have taken it off.' How vain! Think i'd rather wear a helmet

Mmmmmm. Worryingly, that lot would have to get from round your neck up and over your head in 0.1 of a second? Could cause a few injuries by itself I reckon. Some professional motorcycle racers have been trying a similar neck saving device this season and whilst they worked in deployment ok they suffered a few deflation problems after the crash and the riders had to abandon the race because they couldn`t continue with the airbag round their neck. You could imagine the scenario if that happened with this set up.
"Yeah i`m ok, you can let it down now".
"You can let it down now".
"PLEASE let it down now...........It`s messing my hairstyle up...........And I`m off to Sweden this afternoon!!!"

I'm pretty sure Tel's Polish kit makers already do these, and will do them in TA colours for less than ten pounds!!
Get your orders in quick before the Swedish buy them all!!

Seems rather bizarre but if it saves lives you can't knock it; lots of people don't wear helmets. I see kids cycling to school with them... hanging off their handlebars
