Ouch!! Damn Motorists!

I would like to thank the motorist who forgot to look in his mirrors earlier and knocked me flying!!
My bike seems ok as my chin took most of the force of him hitting me, I have a nice hole in it to show off tomorrow; well thats if I make it tomorrow! My hand is pretty sore, but if I can grip the handlebars in the morning I will be racing.

The rest of the ride was ace though.

Sorry to hear about your SMIDSY. Hope you're not too badly hurt, you'll probably be a bit stiff in the morning (steady HTT - kids read this too ) Make sure you've checked your bike properly - carbon can quite easily get damage you can't see. Check your helmet (stop it HTT!) too. And finally if you got his number you can report this to the police.

sorry to hear that Chris.....I hope you got his number and reported him......when motorists hit other motorists and they get whiplash they usually get about 4 grand within a few weeks.....you should claim...in the meantime happy to help with any helmet problems.....sorry Tim, couldn't resist!

I have a houseful of kids now and they are requesting kfc, chinese and curry....go figure!

Can't wait for the race tomorrow and show myself how unfit I really am when I haven't got a wheel to hang on to - thanks for towing me home! Don't forget we lose an hour tonight
