Weekender Volunteers Empty Weekender Volunteers

Post  Tim Yair Wed May 22, 2013 4:16 am

Now that the Tour of the Milburys is over, we need to turn our attention to the Weekender on the 15th and 16th of June.

Entries are already pouring in, so we need to make sure that the event runs as smoothly as TA events always do! This is where you guys come in…

We need volunteers!

The HQ is, as usual, at Liss Village Hall

Saturday 15th – 1st rider off at 16:01
Sunday 16th – 1st rider off at 07:01

Please can you let me know if you are able to help – my understanding of Morse code, semaphore and ESP is not great, so a more traditional response on the forum, via email, PM, SMS would be great!!

As usual we’ll need timekeepers, marshals, kitchen helpers, pushers etc. If you have a preference, please let me know.

Thanks

Tim

Hi Tim

I might be able to rearrange this though but I will let you know.

Hi Timbo!

I wouldn't mind having a crack at riding these, if there are still any spaces?
However if needed I can marshal, make tea do the washing up or whatever!

If I had a preference I think I would rather ride the 25.

Hi Tim, hope your neck feels better.

I am available for both events. I would prefer timekeeping/recording duties but quite happy to marshal instead if required. See you soon.

Tim,

I'm available for both days. Never done it before, so don't have any preferences yet on jobs.

Hi Tim,

I can help out - ideally just Sunday, if that's OK - but both if you're really short on helpers.

Cheers

Weekender Volunteers Empty Apologies

Post  JamesM Tue Jun 11, 2013 7:37 am

Tim,

I'm sorry but I'm going to have to withdraw my offer of help for the Weekender. I've now got a family thing this weekend.

Sorry to mess you about.

Hi Guys

As ever, thanks for all of the offers of help. We've got a couple of big fields (especially Sunday with nearly 110 riders), so it will be busy, and as always any extra help is welcome!

We'll decide exact jobs on the day, so if you can be at the village hall at 15:00 on the Saturday and 6:00 on the Sunday, that would be great.

As usual for TA events, if you want to bring along a cake, I'm sure the riders (& the rest of us!) would appreciate it!!

The Met Office is currently saying that the weather should be OK! Fingers crossed!

If anyone has any questions, do let me know.

See ya there.
