Hi team axiom and all others at the milburys!
Just wanted to say how thrilled I was at how well Saturday went and wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone for making that possible.
The marshals were sterling in that weather so mega thanks to you!
Thanks to BC NEG dave Edwards also for all their help and to the riders that came out on a not so fabulous day to make it possible.
I should like to pass on some feedback already received from a couple of riders that I promised to share with you.

1-Very well organised and some serious dedication from the marshals in that weather so a great effort all round. Although I really enjoyed the race until I punctured on the first lap, absolutely gutted!

2-Shame that I turned up late, as the 9m53s time I actually rode would have been good for 9th or 10th. One thing for next year--please explicitly call out the penalty for late arrival to the line! Whilst I was not aware of that before, I certainly am now. I'll never be late to a TT start again. I should add that you folks ran an excellent event, even better than last year. Look forward to racing it again in 2015.

Thank you all, we'll deserved praise indeed and I think we made a profit!

All good!

Team Axiom at its best! Yeah us!

Hx

Hi Helly

Great to have the good feedback posted, always a good ego boost for the team on a job well done! Not sure that the time keeper can go to the extent of shouting out how late someone is to the line - it's tough enough concentrating minute on minute to ensure everyone sets off when they should do!

I have to say a big up to you as well for agreeing to take on the organisation of the race so that it could happen in the first place, and also to the riders for turning up to race despite the weather!

Sx

Cheers Helly.

Always good to hear the riders feedback and great that it is mostly positive. Regarding the shout out of time penalty; maybe it would be an idea to include on the race programme that the T/T part of the race is actually run under the CTT rules and that time penalties will be given to any late starters. Not that many riders actually read all of the programme, just that we can beat them over the head with it if they should complain!  What a Face

Hi Helly

Echoing Sarah's reply, big up to you for taking the task on. You really did an excellent job under difficult circumstances. Even going beyond the call of duty to help distressed riders who loose their car keys!!!

See you soon

Hi folks thanks for your feed back. We did miraculously find the keys but the emoboliser kicked in and he had to pay for a tow to London anyway poor chap. With regards the calling on the line I have already responded to the guy concerned that I intended to add to the programme for next year.
I included his entire comments really for your amusement! :0) xxx
