Bike maintenace

Hi all

A few of our TA members have been asking about some bike maintenabce classes, well I have found a suitable venue, which is well kitted out with all the required kit, even has toilets and wash area, so all I need to know is numbers of those wanting to come along I intend to hold this on a Monday evening before our club meet, location will be Fareham.

I am thinking -

Correct way wheels in and out of the bike .
Inner tube replacement, inc tyres off an on, easiest way .
Check function of gears and brakes .

There will be plenty of room for all to come along , I have 2 fixed and 1 mobile work station so room for all .

Please bring the tools that you will be using whilst out on your bike , that way we can check they are correct and up to the job .

There may be a nominal charge to cover the "Keyholders" cost

Please let me know who would like to come along

You didn't mention if you have a kettle there!!

BTW did you attempt to use all of the smileys - and no that's not a challenge!!!

Yes we have a kettle although a small one so might take another.

You know I'm interested.
I also contacted Julie today - the girl I met yesterday - and she is definitely keen to come along so as soon as you have a date I will let her know and she will spread it around her cycle group and let us know numbers - but she is definitely in regardless of her mates.
She is also aware that we will ask her and her mates for a nominal fee which will go towards the sponsored bike ride. Not a bad result all round for my first puncture repair!
