Course Details:

START in lay-by at Temple Bar on Stane Street (minor road), directly opposite Strettington Lane
(OS SU 894071).
Go southwest on Stane Street, straightover Maudlin mini RAB and on to Westhampnett RAB
where turn left to Portfield RAB.
Take 1st exit left onto A27 heading east. Continue east on A27. Go straight over Tangmere RAB
(2nd exit) continue east on A27 to junction with Brittens Lane and Blackmill Lane (OS SU 939072)
where turn left into Brittens Lane (avoid turning left again into Blackmill Lane) (9.6 kms/6 miles).
Continue north on Brittens Lane through Eartham to junction with A285.
Turn left onto A285 and go south through Halnaker to northern mini RAB at Tangmere flyover
on A27 (21 kms/13 miles).
Turn at northern mini RAB and retrace on A285 through Halnaker.
Continue on A285 to junction with Selhurstpark Road (opposite Benges Farm) where turn left
(27.4 kms/17 miles).
Continue on Selhurstpark Road, past Pilleygreen Lodges to
FINISH on crest of rise opposite Goodwood horse race course, directly opposite red brick building
(34 kms/21 miles) (OS SU 889112).

Please Note:
The start and finish points have altered slightly from last year's course to take into account the extra
activity in the area relating to preparations for the Festival of Speed at Goodwood. Also please ensure you
allow plenty of time to get to the start as the headquarters is 3 miles away!
