Still hope yet

Please don't make any car booking arrangements yet 'cos I have a cunning plan Black Adder.

I might be taking the tacho rules too literally, 1 card per driver, but 1 card means a driver can drive for 9 hours I believe, so as long as we take a break we should be ok shouldn't we?

Also I have another quote coming in from another company who might be cheaper and I'm waiting on a couple of my class members who might come, if that's alright with the rest of you, thus making the whole trip cheaper and we all like to save a few pennies don't we.

I will have an answer to this saga by Friday.

don't know the Tacho rules inside out but you are only allowed to drive for 9hrs max in a 24hrs period. Then nust have a least 8hrs away from driving. There is a rule that you can accumulate hours driven but not an expert.

My suggestion would be to have two Tacho's just means its only two drivers which I think would be fine?

My sources suggest you are right - two drivers would work, also have to have breaks within the 8 hours but that could be a change of drivers.

If people want to bring tacho's or any other type of mexican food for that matter then my car is not going . Is holding a tortilla really going to make the driving safer
