Club ride 24th Sept

If anyone is interested I will be riding tomorrow. I will be at the normal place for 09.30hrs just going for a shortish ride.

Off to Brum tomorrow morning, so won't be at Cosham - have a good ride though. I'm actually really looking forward to some club rides this winter; gives a chance to have a chat and enjoy the ride. Mind Tel and I had a nice amble around Northern France last week

Good luck to Oscar. My advice for the first year of uni is do as little work and as much drinking as physically possible. You only need 40% first yr - piece of piss!!

don't make me come over there and kick yer A3$e..... the first year sets a platform for your learning in subsequent years.. students that scrape through with 40% don't tend to uplift their marks enough to get a first class degree..

I managed to do 24 lectures a week in my first year (4 - 9 O'clocks a week and one 10pam start, only missed one in 12 weeks) and go out until late some nights of the week (I'm talking mon-thurs here..). trick is to bail out at 1am which isn't hard at all as there's only uggggglyy mingers ( )left after that time anyway!!!

Best of luck oscar... freshers week is pretty cool .. top tip is do as much as you can as you have a couple of days over the weekend to recover before week 1
