Confirmation pub Mon 12 Dec

Right. Listen/read carefully. The pub that Mike took us to, (the one where I was stood up) is the Monks Bar so, keeping with the new pubs theme, we will NOT be going there.

I have made an executive decision and having cased the joint the pub for Monday 12 December 2011 is.................................insert drum roll here......................

The Dolphin Portsmouth, this apparently is the oldest pub in Portsmouth and has mixed reviews in the pub guide.

Ah, good choice (although it doesn't fit the criteria as we have been there a couple times, though not for a long time; maybe the Wellington or Duke of Buckingham would have been acceptable in that area ).
I'm going there for New Year but not on Monday as I'll be in London (unless I get back early when I could pop in).

Didn't know Team Axiom had been there before, I feel I've let you all down!!! Maybe I should have twigged when everyone was calling the Monks Bar the Dolphin. Anyway it must have been over two years ago so maybe it still fits the criteria. I was going to suggest the Wellington but the Dolphin looked nicer.

I promise I will try harder next time.

Personally I don't think there's a problem revisiting pubs & don't think we should exclude good ones just cos we've been there before; a nice mix of favourites and new discoveries I think (so, you're let off the Dolphin ).
And as for the scrolling stuff; well, if you're a good girl Santa may show you...
