Goodwood Gallops 22nd May

Not sure if anyone had the intention of riding this event, but it has been cancelled.
Glyn outlined the reason as 'health and safety gone mad'
Apparently Goodwood want three paramedics per race (rather than first aiders) and marshals on the track.

Hopefully this will be resolved before we host the event in July.

Further to this, it appears that Surrey League and Goodwood have severed their ties and there will be no more races at Goodwood...ever.

What a massive shame, as it was always an enjoyable race.

That's sad news; it was the only road race I rode!

History repeating itself I`m afraid Chris. I seem to remember this being the reason for losing the venue last time
