Team Axiom on Strava
Hi all,
As discussed on the club run today, I have created Team Axiom's club page on Strava.
If you don't already know, Strava (www.strava.com) is probably one of the best cycling websites/apps around at the moment. You can join and use it completely for free and anyone with a Garmin computer or a smartphone can upload their rides to the website.
Once on there, not only will it show you your ride and all of the data, it will also work out which 'segments' (small stretches of road, usually climbs) you have ridden, how fast you were over that segment and where you stand in that segment's leader board. You could be the 'King' or 'Queen' of a particular segment compared to literally everyone who has ever ridden it. It will also give you a 'PR' or personal record if that is fastest time you personally have ridden it. Take it from me, it's pretty addictive.
The Team Axiom club page is here: http://app.strava.com/clubs/teamaxiom
I'm guessing that this will produce similar leader boards over the segments but limit it to Team Axiom members??
Hope to see you all on there. It should be a great addition to our overall on-line presence in this age of Facebook/ twitter, etc, etc.

Re: Team Axiom on Strava
Just set up Strava on my phone. Used the settings tab, that gave me some options including units.
