Burns night(-ish) pub
As Mike has occasionally laid on a chili prior to pub nights (erm, not literally ) I have decided to take a leave out of his book and for the pub night on 24th Jan will be doing the traditional Burns Night supper of haggis, tatties & neeps before hitting the boozer.
In order to get an appropriately sized chieftain o' the puddin' race could you let me know if you'll be coming along to this, between 7 - 7.30.
I've got some mulled wine and choccies left over from Xmas too if that will tempt those who don't like or are too scared to try haggis (but I won't mention Cathy )
I can let you know my address prior to it if necessary
As for the pub itself, I would suggest the SLOB as it's my favourite pub and only about five minutes' walk (if people want to cycle bikes can be left at mine).

Re: Burns night(-ish) pub
Tim - don't think you need to bring anything, thanks though.
Angie - We won't be leaving till just before 8.30 so if you can make it in time to have a quick nosh you're welcome
Tony - I seem to recall some mention of a holiday... have a great time
Cathy - well done, you know it makes sense; I know quite a few people that have been sceptical about it but have overcome their prejudices and realised it is tasty - we won't force you to eat it if you don't want!
See you then (apart from T&S who I believe might be on holiday... ); still time for any more to add to the list.
