Post race bike checks

Hi Guy's



I'm sure you've all been busy cleaning your bikes down after todays wet TTT

I've just done ours and thought I'd post a few thoughts for you to check



Tyres:

After any wet ride its worthwhile to check the tyres for those pesky little bits of flint and glass that embed themselves into your precious rubber, I find a small pointed implement is ok to remove these



Frame:

Its worth checking that your frame hasn't filled up with water, I poured over 1/2 a cup out of mine, after removing the seatpost, tip the bike upside down and pour it over your kitchen floor



Chain:

Wipe down with the best white tea towel and leave to dry, then re-lube after a few hours
