Sportives 2012 (and a weekend in Devon?)

I've entered a couple Sportives, the one that Tony mentioned recently, up around Liphook and the Hindhead tunnel which should be interesting to see: Spring Classic Sportive
The other is in Devon, the Wiggle Jurassic Classic which starts and finishes in Exmouth, where my mum lives.
If anyone else fancies this one and making a wee break out of it, she also has a holiday let bungalow which I should be able to negotiate preferential rates for; I think it might sleep six and is probably about two miles from the start.
I was looking at going down on the Fri 6th July and returning on the Monday but could possibly stretch it a bit further.
As you'd imagine the ride down there is probably going to be rather lumpy but should include some lovely scenery.
