Club Run/Spinning at the weekend
The weather forcast for the weekend looks frrrrrreezing (top temp of 2 degrees!) so i was wondering if anyone fancies spinning instead of (or as well as) the club run?

Would love to do either - but did we not tell you? We're going to France for the weekend

Re: Club Run/Spinning at the weekend
I went out yesterday morning for a ride, apparently it was -2!! After two and a half hours it wasn't massively pleasant, but I think I would still rather ride an actual bike.
So my vote is a club run over spinning.

I am up for a club run on saturday - if the temperatures are too low for me I'll head home - maybe just need to stick to roads that won't be icy. Bimble round to chi or something - are we doing mince pie club run or joining the santa ride as a team this year?

Re: Club Run/Spinning at the weekend
Seeing as we have all spent a fortune on thermal kit and it is still dry a club run does seem logical - I won't be there however, made other plans!
Also, unless you have found someone else to run the spinning classes Cathy they will be on Sundays at 10.30 at Fareham Fitness First followed by Pilates, for those who want to try it! Let me know when you want to start this up again.
See you all soon

Both these classes sound great. It was more a general query as they do spinning and rpm on sat and sun at FF in Portsmouth as well as Fareham (not sure of the guys name - Sean? I am terrible with names tho!) Think i'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to the cold! So let me know when you fancy starting that.
Mince pie and Santa ride sound fun too

Hi Cathy,
I case you didn't know Angie holds a spinning class specifically for us on a Sunday morning when weather gets bad after her usual classes.
All FF want is £10 for room use. Ange does it out of kindship of heart and we love her classes, so no Ange, we have not found someone else and agree we need to talk about when to get your classes going again.
Besides Ange, can't wait to see your whip put to good use!
All, hopefully I will be there tomo morning. I usually leave about 8:45 so pls can we have call off time prior to that if snowy!
See ya!

Re: Club Run/Spinning at the weekend
Gee, thanks for that Helly. I'll warm the whip up.
Cathy - Fitness First is a members only club, as I work for them I have been able to arrange a very good deal that enables me to bring the team into Fareham and train for the winter months, we do not and can not take part in member specific classes, (unless you are a member already). I provide this service as part of my devotion to the club, or is it for personal pleasure, I forget which, something I doubt Shaun would do no matter how lovely he is.
