Accredited Marshals Course

Dear Folks,
The potential dates for the course are the 7th or 14th April.
We had originally suggested the 14th but I think the 7th would be preferable as it is our monthly meeting club night anyway and more folk may have it in their diaries already.
I am still waiting to hear. Otherwise it may have to be at a weekend but dates are very limited with many of you lucky ones going to Majorca.
Please could you keep the 7th & 14th clear in your diaries just in case.

Dear Folks,
Very disappointed to tell you that the AMC has come back to me and surprise surprise has told me that he has run out of time to run a course for us now!
He is running one in Southampton and I have asked whether we could join that. Funnily enough I am waiting to hear back!
Am not impressed as they've know since October that we wanted a course.
He is hopeful to let already accredited marshals have a chance of doing ours.
Apologies for Milburys f**k up number one.   
Guess we will discuss on Monday if we still want to go ahead later in the year which I hope we would and I am happy to continue communication with the AMC in order to make that happen.

Right folks, i have managed to find out via the back door that BC are running a course on Wednesday 9th April at Southampton Uni.
The uni coordinator has informed me that he believes there may be three spaces left on his course and we are waiting for confirmation of that from BC.   
As the numbers are limited I am going to only ask availability in the first instance from those of you who are not likely to be driving or time keeping or who are able to attend the ToM.
Therefore, please would the following folk confirm if they would be able to attend at soton uni from 6-10pm on Wed April 9th just in case we can go. Please answer yes or no irrespective of the number of replies as I will make up a list incl reserves.

Me - I would like to grab one of the spaces. It makes sense that the event organiser understand the role unless anyone strongly objects.

Can I suggest we use Dave Edwards as race service, he has done this in the past for us and is set up to go.

Accredited marshals, I think it best that Joe, Sarah & myself do the course as previously put forward to the club, as we are generally available for most of our events.

Dear Folks,
I am sorry to say that we are unable to join in on the course to be held at soton as it has been filled.
I have been contacted by Grant who suggests we use accredited marshals for the race and i will be bringing that to the table to night.   
No doubt we will try and organise a course for us during the year.
