First TA club event in 2011

Hi all
Tomorrow Sat 26th Feb is Team Axioms 1st club event of 2011 so it doesn't look like there will be a "club run" tomorrow, I know alot of you relish these rides so how about taking a lie in and riding the TT.

[i]DONT FORGET IT IS NOW A REQUIREMENT TO HAVE A WORKING REAR LIGHT FITTED AND SWITCHED ON WHEN YOU RACE ANY "SOUTH DC" EVENT

[b]No Light = No Ride

HQ is the "Soberton Village Hall" which will be open for riders from 13:00 hrs, the course is a variation of the P823 but will start and finish near to the HQ and is about 14.5 miles.

As always we need some kind people to help out with:

The signs - out and in and checking and sweeping any gravelled corners
Time keepers
Marshal's
Pusher off
kitchen
Signing on
Oh and cutting and selling all the cakes that have been kindly donated.
The hall will be open from 12:00 hrs for TA staff.
So even if you don't want to, or indeed cannot ride the event your help is always appreciated.

I'll be there with bike, broom and cakes

Will make sure I sweep the correct route. Last time I swept the shorter climb to Ditcham Park, Doh. Did a damn good job though.

unfortunately my car is in the garage and so won't be able to make this (i can't cycle all the way one handed with cakes sorry) so i will be there next time, or indeed at the pub if the car makes a recovery, with more cakes... (they were going to be in team axiom colours as well!) Have a good one, hope the weather holds out for you
