PTTS - Sat 25th Feb - helpers required

All, the new season is nearly upon us and Team Axiom has the pleasure of arranging the first event. The details are as follows and hopefully as many TA members as possible will support the event by either riding and/helping out (and/or both!). We will need timekeepers, marshals, catering, results, signing on, pushing off etc....

For any new members the Portsdown Time Trial Series (“PTTS”) is a season long inter-club competition that you can just turn up and ride. Points are scored for each finish with the best four events counting overall.

The age category system for the series will be: Lady (L), Youth 12 to 16 (Y), Junior 16 to 18 (J), Senior 18 to 39 (S), Vets 40 to 49 (V), Senior Vets 50 to 59 (SV) and Grand Vets 60+ (GV). There is also a Team Award with a ‘team’ being the fastest 3 riders from each participating club from each event.

The entry fee this year is £4 and £2 for juniors

Sorry Pete I`m working on Saturday mate. It`s a shame cos I always enjoy being finish timekeeper for this one. The "finishing faces" are always entertaining!

I'll be there - not sure my shoulder will be up to riding though - will make a call on that nearer the time. I'll talk to Jane and see if I can't get her to make a cake!!
